BookPeople: Saturday 5/5 @11:30AM. Writers are some of our favorite people in the world because they give us the wonderful gift of stories. But sometimes we forget how hard the writing process can really be. That’s why we’re going to honor our creative heroes today and read The Obstinate Pen and other funny tales of the trials and tribulations of literary life.
- Kid’s Club: Sunday 5/6, 12-2pm. Hey kids, stop by and check out what’s going on at Kid’s Club. Each week we have an exciting activity that will let you play with your food plus learn a couple things along the way. May 6th -Ole’! Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a hand made sombrero and pinata.
- Fundays on the Plaza: Join us every Sunday morning for a Sunday Funday courtesy of Health Starts Here. Classes are free, but you might want to bring a water bottle and a yoga/work out mat.
Ruta Maya: Join us Sunday 5/6 at 10:30 AM Super Cinderella.
First Saturday at the Bob Bullock Museum: Satuday 5/5 2-6 pm The Museum offers FREE admission to the exhibits on the first Saturday of each month with First Saturdays. Visitors can also take advantage of the monthly thematic TEXplorations Family Story Time from on First Saturdays.
